What began with a single opportunity through the Adara Foundation EWARE Programme has grown into a thriving ADIRE enterprise that is creating jobs, preserving culture, and empowering women across Nigeria. Today, her business, House of Shayfaari employs more than 15 people and has trained over 100 women, many of whom have gone on to launch successful businesses of their own.
" My name is Adeola Idonije-Badmus, and I am a proud alumna of the Adara Foundation EWARE Programme.
I joined the programme in 2018, where I gained the knowledge, confidence, and entrepreneurial foundation needed to turn my passion for ADIRE into a sustainable business. With the grant I received from the Foundation in recognition of my consistency and punctuality during the programme, I established House of Shayfaari from a small space in front of my apartment.
Through the training and early support provided by Adara Foundation, I steadily expanded my production capacity, moving into a production facility in Ibadan that now serves as our mini factory. Today, we are working toward establishing an even larger factory to meet growing demand and create more employment opportunities.
The impact has extended far beyond my own business. Since 2019, I have trained more than 100 young Nigerian women in ADIRE production free of charge. More than 20 have established their own ADIRE businesses, while 10 are currently employed by House of Shayfaari.
I remain deeply grateful to the Adara Foundation for investing in my potential. The EWARE Programme did more than help me build a business. " I founded Creative Josh Concept with a simple goal: to provide reliable, professional, and high-quality laundry and cleaning services that my community could depend on. As demand for our services grew, operational challenges such as unreliable power supply and inadequate equipment began to limit our ability to expand.
Support through the Adara Foundation Next Level Business Funding Programme provided the resources needed to overcome these barriers. With the grant, I purchased a 2,000-litre water tank, a pressing iron, essential cleaning supplies, and a more reliable generator, significantly improving the efficiency and consistency of our operations.
These investments have resulted in a 20 percent increase in revenue and enabled me to employ an additional staff member, creating another source of income for a household in my community.

When opportunities were limited, Onyinye Nduh Peter chose practical skills in the EWARE program over a traditional internship.
That decision became the foundation for a thriving career in textile design and a passion for equipping hundreds of young people with industry-relevant skills.
"After completing my National Diploma at Yaba College of Technology, I faced a difficult choice. Rather than pursuing a traditional industrial training placement, I enrolled in the Adara Foundation EWARE Programme to gain practical skills and entrepreneurial knowledge.
Through the programme, I learned ADIRE, Batik, financial literacy, and how to build a sustainable business around my creativity. The experience equipped me with the confidence and skills to create opportunities not only for myself but also for others.
Today, I have trained more than 500 students while working with industrial training students, freelancers, and members of staff who contribute to my growing business. Seeing others discover their potential and build successful careers through the same skills I acquired remains the most rewarding part of my journey.

What began as a mission to tackle Nigeria's growing electronic waste challenge has become a business driving both environmental and economic impact.
With support from the Adara Foundation Next Level Business Funding Programme, BuyScrap Nigeria strengthened its operations, expanded its reach across Lagos, and is building a cleaner, safer future through responsible recycling.
"Electronic waste is one of Nigeria's growing environmental challenges, but I saw it as an opportunity to create lasting change. That vision led to the creation of BuyScrap Nigeria, a technology-driven platform that makes electronic waste collection safe, accessible, and traceable for households and businesses.As the business expanded, we needed stronger systems, regulatory compliance, and the right operational infrastructure to grow responsibly.
Support through the Adara Foundation Next Level Business Funding Programme helped us build that foundation.With the grant, we completed our business registration, secured our NESREA licence, and invested in essential safety equipment, fire suppression systems, protective gear, and specialised tools that improved the safety and professionalism of our operations.
Within three months, our revenue increased by 15 percent. We also opened two additional electronic waste drop-off points across Lagos and created new employment opportunities by engaging two operations interns. Today, we are preparing to expand beyond Lagos while developing a web application that will make responsible electronic waste disposal even more accessible.
