We believe it is vital to create opportunities for women and give them the skills, training, resources, and confidence to be powerful economic agents and fully participate in society.

Adara offers a range of programmes, from focused skills training to broad health and financial literacy and inclusion workshops that aim to uplift and empower Africa’s women
No country – or continent – can reach its full potential when half of its population is left behind. While women are as capable as men in achieving economic success, they are more likely than men to encounter limiting circumstances and norms that constrain their full economic participation.
Moving more women out of poverty can have an immediate and direct impact on the health and wellbeing of families and, in the longer term, society. Adara’s EWARE programme has produced almost 300 textile artisans and its Access to Market programmes continues to create and connect the women to income-generating opportunities.
