Adara is investing in the future of Africa’s human capital through education grants, skills training and other investments in quality learning.
Africa’s youth bulge, if mobilized properly, provides a huge opportunity for the continent’s development – yet it also presents a huge threat if left unaddressed. Sixty percent of Africa’s population is under the age of twenty-five, and thirty percent of those youth are unemployed or unemployable.
It is critical to educate and equip Africa’s young people with the tools they need to be effective members of the economy and society. In 2019, the Foundation launched the Adara Foundation & Oxford University Said Business School MBA full scholarship programme for female candidates of African Nationality with the goal of advancing female education in Africa.
